The only living natrual child of Pearl Marie Buck and Lee Leonard Buck her brother died as a infant. She had a sister Grace Joan Buck English. Her parents were orphans she was raised in a poor family. They loed her and took in many childeren that did not have homes or familes. Pearl raised her girls in Charleston WV. Was the Charter member of Davis Creek Church of the Nazerene. They did not hae a car and they walked over 5 miles to and from church. Lee Buck worked and retierd from FMC early in his 60's from a bad Heart. He was a outstnding gardner and provied food for the family. Pearl canned and sewed and cleaned houses to help her family.
Phyllis ran off and got married at the age of 17 to Glen V. Conway they had 3 childern Charles Elwood born 10/4/50 died 10/24/50 from reflux.
Linda Carol born 10/18/51 and last Estella Marie born 11/25/1952
That marriage did not surive and ended in about 1953. Pearl and Lee took care of Linda and Estella till Phyllis got a job in Columbus, Ohio. she meet Phillip Eugene Cardwell and they married in about 1957 they took the girs with them to Ohio, Moved the family to Beaumont, Tx about 1963 then on to Houston divorce in about 1964 or 1965. Phyllis meet her soulmate Ernest Francis Benoit at Pecan park PHarmacy and they married. Rough time divorced and remarried several times.
Phyllis went to work for Foley's Raised her girls and sending them to their Grandpartents and Aunt in the summers. This is a long story will finish later as I have cancer and I am getting tired
